Sports and Activities:
Over my time here, I have been a proud member of the Retan Rifle silent drill team. I have also been a proud member of the Fork union Military academy regimental marching band. I have had the honor of playing baseball on the prep team, while also being a cadet officer around the barracks.
College Enrolled:
Campbell university
Home Town, State:
Bunnlevel, NC

Reflections and Advice:

1.) What do you think makes your school unique relative to other boarding schools?
One of the most famous aspects to our school is it's one subject plan. The one subject plan is an idea where every student attends a single class every week day for 7 weeks, throughout the whole year they will attend a total of 5 classes. It helps the students focus on one subject and not stress about multiple classes. each day, a student learns the equivalent of a weeks worth of information.
2.) What was the best thing that happened to you in boarding school?
Being able to get accepted into my dream school.
3.) What might you have done differently during your boarding school experience?
I would have probably paid more attention to the extra curriculars, I made myself very shallow when it came to those and I wish I could have explored them a lot more.
4.) What did you like most about your school?
I like how we are a brotherhood and we act as one unit.
5.) Do you have any final words of wisdom for visiting or incoming students to your school?
If you are willing to join a brotherhood and look after each other, this school is for you.

Academics:

1.) Describe the academics at your school - what did you like most about it?
I really like the one subject plan and how our class sizes are small and we are able to ask our teacher questions without focusing on other classes. When I was at my old school, I was in a graduating class of over 600, meaning that I could not get 1-1 time with my teacher to understand the subject better.

Athletics:

1.) Describe the athletics at your school - what did you like most about it?
Our athletics are awesome, we have a requirement that every cadet is required to participate in at least 1 sport in each season. We have produced more football players than any other high school. Our track team is elite and consistently wins awards.

Art, Music, and Theatre:

1.) Describe the arts program at your school - what did you like most about it?
Our band program is state of the art to say the least. we have grown from having 10 band members 3 years ago, to havng more than 60 band members today, we have won top military school band in the country for 2 years in a row, we have a fantastic drumline, our drumline is backed up with an awesome wind section split between brass and woodwinds. we have mentors who are able to teach students who have never played an instrument before.

Extracurricular Opportunities:

1.) Describe the extracurriculars offered at your school - what did you like most about it?
I like how we have many different extra curriculars to choose from. we are able to decide which one best fits our schedule, we have community service clubs, we have religious clubs, we even have a cooking club.

Dorm Life:

1.) Describe the dorm life in your school - what did you like most about it?
Our dorm life, that is a hard one. Our dorm life is basically like a family. Here at FUMA, we are a brotherhood, we care for each other, sometimes people may not like how we take care of each other, but we hold each other to a standard. we have a curfew and we wake up at a certain time. our barracks are split into 5 companies, each into its own grade.

Dining:

1.) Describe the dining arrangements at your school.
Our dining is elite with our own contracted cooking company who cooks delicious meals each day consistently.

Social and Town Life:

1.) Describe the school's town and surrounding area.
I like how it is in the middle of a forest, the town basically runs around this school, this school has a church, a walmart, and a dollar general, so if you needed anything, you could run to those places.
2.) Describe the social life at your school - what did you like most about it?
I like how we care about each other, no matter what, we have people that have our back.
