LCBI has many different engaging and knowledgeable teachers who are passionate about their subjects. These teachers put countless hours into creating the best lessons they can offer. At LCBI they have a great science laboratory that is used for all grades. LCBI has always been known for its smaller class sizes so each student receives a more personalized learning experience. In this case students receive more individualized attention from teachers, fostering a deeper understanding of the material and providing opportunities for meaningful class discussions.

Art, Music, and Theatre:
1.) Describe the arts program at your school - what did you like most about it?
For being such a small school LCBI tends to do great things with their arts. LCBI offers art classes that you can take as well as choir and music. I was able to take part in choir when I was a student at LCBI. The choir did and still does travel and goes to different cities to put on shows. I always found this experience to be a fun time in the school year.Musical Theatre is a big aspect of LCBI. Every since I heard about the school they has always been a large production at the end of the year. Most students in the school love to get involved in this production and people travel from all over the country to see it!

Dorm Life:
1.) Describe the dorm life in your school - what did you like most about it?
Dorm life was a lot of fun. It was nice becoming super close with people and creating life long friendships. I enjoyed the room set-ups as they were very spacious compared to other dorm rooms I have seen. They offer a bed, dresser, desk and a closet. The beds were super comfy and it felt like home.
Dining:
1.) Describe the dining arrangements at your school.
The cafeteria is open for breakfast, lunch, and supper. The cafeteria always offered one main course meal with a veggie bar. The cafeteria also always had left overs out that if students did not like the main course they had other options they could choose from. The food was delicious and healthy too!
Social and Town Life:
1.) Describe the school's town and surrounding area.
LCBI is located just on the edge of the town of Outlook. This town has many different small town amenities including 2 grocery stores, 2 gas stations, a bakery, a movie theatre, fast food places, and restaurants. It also includes little shops and coffee places!
2.) Describe the social life at your school - what did you like most about it?
I enjoyed having something going on all the time! Being able to hang out in the school and gym till the dorm parents closed it was super beneficial to my academics and sports. I was able to practice my sports basically any time there was not practice! I also enjoyed being able to hang out in the computer lab and complete work after school hours. Another fun part of the school is the student center. This center is filled with pool tables, ping pong, air hockey, and a large movie area.
On weekends there was always something planned for us to do if we wanted. We could hang out with friends or just relax in the student center.
