Reflections and Advice:

1.) What do you think makes your school unique relative to other boarding schools?
RLS gave me the perfect gateway experience from high school to college. The living environment, the professors, the class structure and electives selections were stellar. Best all around experience of my life to date.
2.) What was the best thing that happened to you in boarding school?
Life long friendships, world class experience, beautiful campus and dorms.
3.) What might you have done differently during your boarding school experience?
Keep the mandatory study hall 7pm to 9pm all the way through college I wish I would have done that.
4.) What did you like most about your school?
The amazing well rounded experience!
5.) Do you have any final words of wisdom for visiting or incoming students to your school?
My dorm Silverado was the newest dorm when I attended and last year when I attended our 25 year reunion it was the oldest the new forms looked like beautiful posh condos all in all the campus still amazing. To families of boarders: there is still nothing like care packages and good old fashioned letters please send them your love.

Academics:

1.) Describe the academics at your school - what did you like most about it?
Very challenging but the professors give you all the assistance needed to get you to understand the materials they give you one on one attention and make it interesting There are do many electives my senior year in particular I really got a diverse course content. They did trimesters at RLS do we got even more variety. Fantastic

Athletics:

1.) Describe the athletics at your school - what did you like most about it?
Stellar great team sports great support everyone supported everyone. After school sports was mandatory so we all supported each other

Art, Music, and Theatre:

1.) Describe the arts program at your school - what did you like most about it?
Fantastic we had KSPB s real live radio station and we got FCC radio licenses and had our own radio shows broadcasting to the whole Monterey Bay We also had a great music and theatre program.

Extracurricular Opportunities:

1.) Describe the extracurriculars offered at your school - what did you like most about it?
We had the pebble beach golf courses as our neighbors. we had the Monterey bay aquarium as a local marine biology reference An awsome equestrian center.

Dorm Life:

1.) Describe the dorm life in your school - what did you like most about it?
The sister/brotherhood the family away from home. The dorms were absolutely amazing

Dining:

1.) Describe the dining arrangements at your school.
Dining hall open three times a day really good food formal dinner once a week love the salad bar and captain crunch

Social and Town Life:

1.) Describe the school's town and surrounding area.
Bus took us to Carmel PG and or del monte shopping center on weekends
2.) Describe the social life at your school - what did you like most about it?
I lived with my best friends it was fantastic
