Founded in 1844, Wyoming Seminary is a four-year, coeducational, day and boarding school that serves a truly global population. More than 100 international students from 35 countries - which represents 24% of the Upper School population - attend Sem.
The average class size at Wyoming Seminary is about nine students, allowing our world-class faculty to provide personalized, hands-on instruction.
Wyoming Seminary's signature programs include three academic concentrations - Climate Science and Sustainability, STEM/STEAM, Humanities and Global Studies - which allow students to focus their work in specialized fields while developing a portfolio and working closely with a concentration advisor.
Offering 22 interscholastic sports teams, Wyoming Seminary's robust athletic program has achieved local, national and even international success. About 75% of students participate in at least one sport.
Many of Wyoming Seminary's art shows and classes are housed at the Kirby Center for Creative Arts, opened in 2014, which contains a 600-seat concert hall, a two-story art gallery and multiple studios, classrooms and other spaces.
Founded in 1893 in southern Pennsylvania, Mercersburg Academy gives students in grades 9-12 and postgraduates the opportunity to live and learn with fellow young adults from 28 states and 44 countries.
Mercersburg students benefit from a 300-acre campus, a 4:1 student-to-faculty ratio, 145 academic courses, 27 varsity sports teams, a robust performing and fine arts program, a robotics program, an outdoor education program, dozens of clubs and student organizations, global travel opportunities, and $10 million in annual financial aid.
